A 19-year-old student named Hank Cazier got diagnosed in 2015, and he came to know that he is suffering from a cancerous brain tumor. From that day, he wasn’t sure that he would be able to live long to accomplish his dream of becoming a model. Since 2015 he had a total of 35 radiation rounds, intense chemotherapy treatment, along with brain surgery. Because of his operation, Cazier has almost lost all his motor skills. Moreover, he is attending occupational, speech, and physical therapy for the last 5 years nearly every day.
The regular emotional and physical stress has made everything messy for him. He was struggling hard to find out anything worth for himself. And finally, Make-A-Wish Idaho and Macy’s clubbed together to help him accomplish his dream. According to Sheikina Liverpool (Macy’s spokesperson), Cazier hoped that if he would be able to complete his dream, he can overcome all his disabilities and become more confident in his capabilities. Cazier went to New York in August, where he got an opportunity to participate in a two-day modeling photoshoot for the annual holiday camping of Macy’s. According to Macy’s, he learned to model, he was styled by Fashion team of Macy’s, and he got a chance to work with some of the most talented people in the industry.
A limousine on Wednesday came at Cazier’s please to pick him and his family for a surprise, where there was a billboard featuring Cazier’s photograph in Idaho Falls. It was a great surprise for him because he had no idea that he will be part of Billboard in Net York City. According to Cazier, the whole experience was much more than his imagination. For him, everything was a dream come true as he has never thought that you would be able to make his dream a reality. He showed his gratefulness to Make-A-Wish and Macy’s for giving him such a big opportunity. He took it as a significant life-changing experience.
