Samsung has been somewhat consistent about sticking to a pattern for unveiling its latest phones, at least in the high-end segment. Every time the South Korean tech giant unveils a flagship-class device, either in the Galaxy Note or Galaxy S series, it is followed by a somewhat toned-down version soon after. This year, however, the company has been a tad late in coming up with the Lite versions for Galaxy S and Note. In a recent leak, both the upcoming devices have emerged- ending the speculations. So, it is quite evident that these two devices will get released before the next flagship Galaxy S 11 hits the shelves.
The Galaxy S 10 lite resembles the next flagship S 11 to an extent- as per the latest leaks. It reportedly has a punch hole front camera and a larger camera unit at the back. It is going to get a large Full HD+ AMOLED 6.7-inch screen. A Snapdragon 855 SoC will power it, and there will be 8GB Ram. The device will have a massive 4,500 mAh battery. Samsung may equip it with the latest 45W wired charging tech while internal storage is 128 GB. The rear camera will have a resolution of 48MP, and it will be accompanied by a 5MP telephoto lens and another ultra- type 12 MP lens. The device will also be shipped with the latest communication technologies like 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C. However, it may ditch the 3.5mm headphone port.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is also there in the leaks, and it sports good spec too. The camera setup is likely the same as S10 Lite. It may get a 6.7-inch display. However, this device may not get a Snapdragon SoC, and instead, there will be an Exynos 9810 chip inside. It will have 6 GB RAM-as per the news. This device, however, does not discard the 3.5mm headphone jack, and of course, it will ship with the S Pen. Samsung is yet to declare the release date for both the devices.
